HALO concludes it’s high-energy “Weekend to Remember” with our annual Western-Themed Gala.  From hanging out with honored guests, our hosted warriors, and all around great people; to the fine dining and energized auctioneers during the live auction; a fun-filled evening awaits all those in attendance. This night really pulls the weekend together and shows what HALO For Freedom Warrior Foundation is all about.

Our Gala gives us a chance to showcase the warrior’s experience firsthand through video and speeches. Our honored guest, many of them wounded veterans, speak about the importance of recovering after injury, helping keep each other accountable, and how HALO’s “Weekend to Remember” has helped them during the healing process. Medal of Honor recipients tell their stories of triumph, tragedy, and overcoming obstacles on the battlefield and in life after war. All which will keep you on the edge of your seat!

To wrap the evening up, we hold a live auction, live gun auction, and a silent auction. The items up for grab are unique and many of them are one-of-a-kind. Some items up for grab are autographed by celebrities and war heroes, others handmade by some of our wounded veteran attendees. These auction items come from around the country, and some from overseas, all in support of HALOs cause. We can’t forget to mention the live gun auction where a variety of unique derringers, pistols, rifles, shotguns, AR-15s, and more are sure to have your attention!  Be sure to bring your checkbooks and exercise shoes because you’ll break a sweat bidding to win!

All proceeds from the auctions go towards the next year’s “Weekend to Remember” so that we can continue hosting our warriors and help in their healing efforts.
